Magic is real!

In KOKODI, masks are vital for both protection and magic. Players must wear a mask in dangerous zones, as masks shield them from zone-based damage. Each mask can absorb one headshot and provides defense against monsters and demons. If a player’s mask is destroyed and they don’t have a spare, they become highly vulnerable, drawing nearby NPCs to them.

Qualia, or mana, powers the magical abilities granted by masks and is also used for operating certain weapons, vehicles, and map mechanisms. Players start with 100 Qualia, which can be replenished through items or by staying in specific zones. Qualia naturally regenerates at 0.5 units per second within a zone and 1 unit per second outside.
